Spring Branch Trail Phase Two Update

Thanks to funding by the Spring Branch Management District, plans are in motion for the Spring Branch Trail Phase Two to expand the existing Phase One trail from Gessner west to Shadowdale Drive.

Two community meetings were held about Phase Two on June 29 and October 7. The purpose of the meetings was to provide updates on the progress of design and gather community input on trail alignment, connections, and amenities. Materials from those meetings can be viewed here.

Since the community meetings were held, the design team and project funder further refined the alignment of the planned trail, including the ped/bike crossing across Gessner. To view the updated overall trail alignment plan, design plans for the Gessner crossing, and an example crossing, click here.

A community update will be provided as permitting and bidding progress.
