We exist to enhance the well-being & development of the families of Spring Branch through a multi-agency collaboration that provides educational, recreational, health & social services.

For nearly 20 years, Spring Branch Family Development Center has been empowering families with resources in education, recreation, health, and social services.

We are all facing challenging times that require creativity, patience, and sacrifice. No matter what, SFBDC will continue to work hard to bring together partners and programs that serve families with essential resources – now and in the future. We invite you, if you are able, to join with us by sharing and giving this #GivingTuesdayNow.

During this time when resources are even more stretched, we are thankful to be able to provide options for families to receive food.

Over the past six weeks, in partnership with the Houston Food Bank and the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Houston, we have served over 2,100 families with 72,000 pounds of food. We appreciate the hard work of volunteers and staff from the Boys and Girls Club, the Houston Police, and the community. With on-site distribution processes changing to adapt to social distancing guidelines, we are especially grateful for the additional sweat equity and teamwork.

This month, SBFDC will host our regular partnerships with the Houston Food Bank, including the Mobile Pantry and the Senior Box Distribution programs.

We are proud of how the Spring Branch Community Health Center and the UT Health WIC Clinic are serving clients in safe and important ways. We look forward to supporting additional programs in the coming weeks.

Thank you for your partnership and support to serve basic needs!
