Are You Doing a Good Job?: The basics for measuring your hard work; Importance of understanding your financials; Building a real asset; Connections Financing Panel – Relationships for success. Representatives from Houston’s financial entrepreneurial eco-system, including the Small Business Administration, LiftFund, Wallis State Bank and Amegy Bank. Featured Speaker: Rebecca Schultz, currently serves as a commercial loan officer for TDECU and as a financial educator to the community focused on building better credit for entrepreneurs.
This workshop is a prerequisite for those preparing to apply for the 2018 HCC Newspring Business Plan Competition (BPC) which offers free mentoring and training in the Spring to proposed, startup and existing entrepreneurs and awards $30,000 in seed money and in-kind prizes.
