Come out and support a local Spring Branch High School theater production as the Spring Woods High School Safari Players Theater Troupe present Clue the Musical. This slap-stick musical is based on the board game by the Parker Brothers, with all of the same suspects, weapons, and mansion rooms that Clue players love. Although it appears to be like any other musical, there is one thing that makes it different from other shows, like the Drowsy Chaperone, Into the Woods, or Mamma Mia!: Clue the Musical is interactive, allowing the audience members to participate, as if they are playing the board game!

Before the pandemic, the Safari Players were getting ready to sing, dance, and act in the award winning musical Guys and Dolls. Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, the musical was cancelled, and in its place, the theater directors came up with Clue. One of the reasons that this idea came to be may have something to do with the unfulfilled plan to put on the exact same show in 2004, when a snowstorm hit Houston.

The performance venue, the Spring Woods High School Theater Auditorium, 2045 Gessner Drive, is limited to 200 seats and there will be social distancing guidelines for all attendees Due to the seating limitations, advanced ticket purchases are strongly recommended at safariplayers.com . Along with the tickets going for $5 for children and $10 for adults, there are also $50 VIP tables for 3 that include free snacks during intermission, signed playbills or posters and in front of the front row seats.

COVID-19 precautions will include:

  1. Temperature checks for all attendees
  2. Mandatory mask-wearing
  3. Limited seating

Donations to the Spring Woods High School Food Bank (“The Woods Goods”) will be collected at the door. Donors will receive a coupon for free concessions! Thank you for supporting our students!
