SBMD Community Day – July 16, 2016

The Spring Branch Management District held another successful Community Day on July 16th at Bella Spring Townhomes. The event garnered over 60 attendees featuring area partners such as: COSAP/Phoenix House, who specializes in keeping families drug and alcohol free; SEAL Security Services, who offer supplemental patrols throughout the Spring Branch District; the American Diabetes Association; the Houston Museum of Natural Science; and many more, all offering important information for families. Attendees enjoyed hamburgers and hot dogs provided by Bella Spring Townhomes as well as musical entertainment provided by Christian Artist J. C. Lewis while the clowns Tolochin and Sonrisita played games with the children. Everyone had a great time and we can’t wait for the next Community Day!

Multi-Family Outreach Event – December 13, 2014

On December 13 the District held its last quarterly Multi-Family Public Safety Outreach day.
The event started out slowly but picked up a few hours into the event. A great time was had by the children who played games and visited with the officers in attendance.
The event is held the second Saturday of the quarter and the next event will be March 14, 2015.

Outreach Day 2013

The Spring Branch District has partnered with Precinct 1, Constable Allen Rosen and other area law enforcement agencies on a quarterly public safety outreach program in our multi-family communities. Through this initiative the district and our law enforcement agencies want to encourage residents to come out and learn more about how the agencies operate and what they can do to assist the community with public safety related issues.

Family Day 2012

More than 50 Spring Branch families recently celebrated Family Day Dinner, the nationally recognized day of families having meals together in order to encourage time together and to promote conversations between parents and children.
The Coalition of Behavioral Health Services/The Partnership for a Drug-Free Spring Branch, with the assistance of the Spring Branch Management District and Guadalajara Hacienda restaurant, hosted a dinner for the families at Chapelwood United Methodist Church.
