The Spring Branch Management District is looking to spread some holiday cheer among local businesses and the community with three fun opportunities to get in the spirit in Spring Branch this month.

Spring Branch District businesses are invited to register by Dec. 7 for the District’s first-ever Holiday Decorating Contest. Show off your most creative holiday decorations and pay special attention to theme, originality, lighting, design and space usage to win!

All Spring Branch businesses are invited to join the decorating contest!

The contest is sponsored by Allen Boone Humphries Robinson LLP and SWA Group.

Winners of the Holiday Decorating Contest will be announced at the Spring Branch District Holiday Social, scheduled for Dec. 12 at 6:30 p.m. at the District offices, 9610 Long Point Road.

Stop by for hors d’oeuvres, sweet treats and cocktails. Have your photo taken and take home a keepsake frame! It’s a great opportunity to meet with other business owners, District staff and board members and leaders in our community.

The come-and-go social is free. RSVP is requested but not required by calling 832-819-8870.

Taking place directly before the District Holiday Social, everyone in the community is invited to stop by the District’s first-ever Holiday Lighting Ceremony to take place at the corner of Gessner and Long Point Road at 6 p.m. on Dec. 12.

Houston City Council Member Brenda Stardig will be there to give a few words on the Gessner Road Improvement Project before the decorations and lights are turned on along the roadway.

Don’t miss this fun event to kick-off the holiday season in Spring Branch and see Spring Branch shine even brighter than usual!
