Happy new year! I hope you and your family had a safe and happy new year and holiday season. As we enter 2022, please remember that the District A office is here to assist! If you have a concern that you need to report to the City, please follow these steps:

  • Submit it to 311. You can submit it any of the following ways:
    • Call 3-1-1 or 713-837-0311
    • Submit it on the 3-1-1 app. Keep in mind that there is a new app. There are many issues with the new app, and I have submitted the concerns to 3-1-1 to get fixed.
    • Submit it on the 3-1-1 website: https://www.houstontx.gov/311/
    • Email 3-1-1 at [email protected]
  • If it is an issue that you need further assistance with, please escalate it to my office. You can contact the District A office the following ways:

Trash and Recycling Pickup
If your recycling is regularly scheduled on Thursday or Friday A-weeks (December 30th and 31st), your pickup fell on a holiday schedule and will not be collected until your next regularly scheduled collection day.
I encourage you to download the HTX Collects app to remind you of collection days. You can also enable notifications on your phone so that you can stay up to date on collections and holiday schedules. Or you can sign up for alerts through the website (click here).
