Community Events from February

Highlighting some of the many community events from last month!
Congratulations to the 29 new firefighters who graduated from Class 2022D!!
Spring Woods High School became a Special Olympics Unified Champion School! They received national banner recognition and ESPN Top 5 for their efforts to promote inclusion, respect, and acceptance for all students. So proud of our students and teachers!
I attended the Annual Trailblazer’s Luncheon hosted by the Houston Black Fire Fighters Association. Great seeing our fire fighters and supporting the history and heritage of Houston’s diverse fire service.
I rode District A’s HPD sponsored horse, Hollister, in the Rodeo Parade. Thanks to all of the volunteers and participants in the parade!
