| Houston Public Works began the process of shutting down groundwater wells. You may continue to notice smells as the well water makes it way through the system. Per Houston Public Works, the water is still safe to drink.
If you have individual concerns or questions about the water at your house, please contact 3-1-1 (or 713-837-0311) so that it can be investigated. If you prefer, you can send an email to [email protected] or use the 311 app to make a report.
Houston Public Works regularly tests the water to make sure it meets standards. So far, all of the water they tested has met the standards. If anything changes, a boil water notice could be issued. At this time, there are no boil water notices.
