| It is recommended that you stay off the roads at this time. Many roads are currently impassable, and icy patches may not be visible. While it is not safe for you, it is also dangerous for our first responders to get to you on unsafe roads. |

Solid Waste Department Collection
|
|
| Due to current winter freeze weather conditions, the City of Houston’s Solid Waste Management Department adjusted residential collection services for the remainder of the week. Garbage collection and Heavy Trash services will run two days behind schedule through Sunday. Curbside recycling, tree waste, and yard waste collection services will be suspended for the remainder of the week through January 26, 2025. |

| Z Trips to warming centers have been suspended because of road conditions. If you need a ride, please call 3-1-1 as road conditions will contine to be assessed throughout the day.
Warming Centers will be open today until Thursday 1/23/25. Animal kennels will be pre-staged at Fonde CC and Metropolitan MSC, and BARC animal control officers will be able to deliver other kennels as necessary.
