Residential Overlay Project
A Residential Overlay Project began earlier this month. The project will take approximately 10 weeks to complete (weather permitting).
Eaglerock Drive Street Rehabilitation
A project on Eaglerock started this month to fix chronic street ponding in certain spots.
14315 Park Row Blvd. Rehabilitation
Park 10 East Well #4 located at 14315 Park Row Blvd. will go through a rehabilitation project. Construction is scheduled to commence on Monday, February 17, 2025 and is anticipated to end in June.
Antoine and Westview Barricades
The barricades are associated with the ongoing work on Westview between Story and Post Oak. The closed off section is needed to redirect wastewater from Westview. As soon as the work between Story and Post Oak is done, the barricades will be removed.

Memorial Groves Public Information Session
Memorial Park Conservancy will be hosting its next Public Information Session on the Memorial Groves project on Thursday, February 13th from 5:30-7:00pm at St. Theresa’s Church next to Memorial Park.

Thomas Woltz of Nelson Byrd Woltz Landscape Architects and Chris Ballard, our Interim President & CEO, will be presenting.

Energy Corridor: Energyfest
The Energy Corridor invites you to Energyfest! This community festival will run April 5, 2025 from 12-5 p.m. at the Addicks Park and Ride.

Attended Mayor Whitmire ‘s press conference detailing safety measures for the Chevron Houston Marathon.
Thank you to Department of Neighborhoods for hosting their January DON Forum in District A! District A constituents were able to hear from Department Representatives from Solid Waste, City Legal, DON, Traffic Control, HPW and more!
I met with Boy Scout Pack 1631 and had an amazing discussion on the inner workings of the City of Houston!
Thanks to Kids Meals for inviting me to see the progress of their new building of operations. We are fortunate to have them in District A!
It was an honor to present a proclamation to Mohdudul Huq who retired after working for Houston Planning & Development Department for 40 years! I am thankful for his dedicated service to our city!
