Beginning on Friday, August 26, 2016, and through October 14, 2016, the FBI will begin accepting applications for the FBI’s Honors Internship Program.

The Honors Internship Program is one of the most competitive internship programs in the nation. An FBI Internship opportunity offers undergraduate and graduate school students throughout the United States an exciting insider’s view of FBI operations, and provides an opportunity to explore the many career opportunities within the FBI.

In order to qualify, students must:

  • Be a U.S. citizen
  • Be enrolled and attending a college or university full-time that is accredited by one of the regional or national institutional associations recognized by the United States Secretary of Education
  • Be classified as an Undergraduate (second semester freshman, sophomore, junior or senior), Graduate or Post Doctorate Student.
  • Have and maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA for a college student) of 3.0 GPA or above on a 4.0 GPA scale, and be in good academic standing at the time of application
  • Pass all of the FBI employment background investigation requirements and receive a Top Secret security clearance
