Infrastructure Rehabilitation on West Little York Rd.
Spot pavement repairs are authorized in preparation for micro surfacing from BW8 to Hempstead Rd. Construction is expected to be completed by the first week of August.

Storm Sewer Rehabilitation along Bauer Dr.
Work is authorized along Bauer Drive from Vogue Lane to Hammerly Boulevard and is anticipated to take roughly 120 days.

Fourth of July celebration

Wonderful time with Shadow Oaks and Royal Oaks at their annual Fourth of July celebration!

Ethics and Governance Committee

At July’s Ethics & Governance Committee, I presented a proposal developed with Council Member Joaquin Martinez and Council Member Twila Carter to strengthen the Ethics Commission and build public trust in elected officials and candidates.

HPD City-Wide PIP meeting

HPD City-Wide PIP held its July meeting in the Inwood area, where residents heard from the Auto Theft Division and asked public-safety questions.

Hope City held food and supply distribution events in District A during July, on Pitner Road and in Carverdale.

Kids' Meals volunteers

The District A Team, Council Member Joaquin Martinez, and the District I Team volunteered at Kids’ Meals, Inc., which delivers free healthy meals to Greater Houston preschool-aged children and connects families with resources.
