Bandit Sign Volunteer Program

| If you are tired of illegal bandit signs in our community, you can sign up to volunteer to assist the Department of Neighborhoods in removing them! Once you sign up to volunteer you will be required to take a virtual workshop that instructs how to properly and safely remove illegal bandit signs around the City of Houston.
Volunteer will require the following:
- Register for virtual workshop
- Take and pass an assessment test
- Meet quarterly for neighbor bandit sign cleanup
- Will be required to register yearly
- Document bandit sign removal volunteer hours in Volunteer Initiatives Program Volunteer Houston Portal

This information assists the City when determining the city’s hurricane plan, flood plan, points of distribution plan, reunification and family assistance plan, access and functional needs and the State of Texas Emergency Assistance Registry, and the evacuation plan. |
