Enjoy the Student Art Auction in the beautiful lobby of the George Theater. We are excited to partner with A.D. Players for this special evening!

Original paintings and 3-dimensional designs created by students from Spring Branch are featured at the auction. Over 230 pieces were submitted, with the very best being selected for the auction event. Student artists will be on hand to visit about their artwork. The auction provides a terrific opportunity for each student to be recognized for their talents and experience the marketplace at work.

The evening is in partnership with A.D. Players Sneak Peek event at 7:00 p.m., showing a scene from their upcoming play, The God Committee by Mark St. Germain.

We hope to see you Friday night, May 10th!

Martha Macris, President and CEO of Memorial Area Ministries, stands with their new butterfly which colorfully illustrates their mission to help people bounce back from a crisis, care for their families, and learn skills to improve their lives.

Small Steps Nurturing Center received a bright butterfly to grace their courtyard as a gift from Rob Bond. Small Steps provides exemplary early childhood programs to economically at-risk children and their families.

A blue mosaic butterfly now graces the outside area of The Anchor House at Chapelwood United Methodist Church.

We are grateful to Nancy Wilfong for her service on the board of Newspring. Nancy was instrumental in leading a spiritual board retreat to strengthen the relationships of the volunteer board members and the staff. She initiated the Women’s Networking group to assist women with their business skills and create supportive relationships. Her experience as a leader on other non-profit boards helped Newspring to develop and grow. Nancy, together with her husband Hugh, are passionate about the families we serve and enjoy joining the students for celebrations. Nancy is intentional about her efforts, a strategic thinker and a wonderful friend to Newspring.

Butterflies make perfect Mother’s Day gifts!

Each design is created by a Newspring student artist.
