On Friday, Feb. 28, students and staff around the district celebrated the 2014 GO TEXAN Day in style complete with cowboy hats, boots and Texas-styled attire. This annual event marks the beginning of rodeo season in Houston, and the official start of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.
