The unpredictable Houston weather can put a cramp in any aspiring soccer player’s training schedule. A new training facility at Houston’s Marq’E Entertainment Centre solves this problem.

With a FIFA-certified futsal field, Soccer Hub Houston is a great option for individual soccer training, team events and even youth and adult leagues.

Soccer Hub first opened in Austin two years ago and, just a few months ago, opened its 6,000-square-foot Spring Branch facility, said owner Tim Medina.

“Unique to the Houston area, we offer 3v3 youth and adult futsal soccer leagues on our FIFA-approved futsal surface,” Medina said.

The training facility is open from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. each night, Medina said, and is a great place to host birthday parties.

Youth soccer training, though, is their specialty.

“Our structured curriculum and technical training model, combined with limited class sizes, is designed to give players the tools they need to command the game at any level,” Medina said.

Leagues are organized by age and skill level with a maximum of eight players on a team. Annual membership is only $10, and is required for every player. League winners, though, can earn cash prizes. The 3v3 format maximizes touches on the ball, enhances your speed of play, helps you gain comfort with the ball at your feet, promotes quicker decision-making and increases fitness, timing and sharpness.

Birthday party packages are available in two-hour blocks starting at $200 for up to 10 people, plus $8 for every additional party-goer.
