HCC Beta Beta Beta (TriBeta) Biology club hosted a blood drive and bone marrow match testing June 27 at HCC’s Spring Branch campus. More than 40 people participated in the cause benefiting Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center. TriBeta is a national biological honors society for students dedicated to improving the understanding and appreciation of biological study while extending boundaries of human knowledge through scientific research. In addition to the blood drive and bone marrow testing event, TriBeta hosts health fairs, school supply drives and a host of annual fundraising events. Biology professor, Dr. Anna Koshy is the Faculty Advisor for the organization that was established at the college 11 years ago.
