Prayer Breakfast at St. Jerome’s

A big “thank you” to St. Jerome’s Catholic Church, Father Dan Scheel and the parish council for hosting such a terrific event. Our keynote speaker was Dr, Duncan Klussmann, retiring Superintendent of Spring Branch ISD.

Prayers offered by

  • Rev. Mgsr. Dan Scheel,
  • St. Jerome’s Catholic Church
  • Linda Buchman, Spring Branch ISD
  • Marlen Trujllo, Spring Branch Community Health Center
  • Rev. Matt Russell, St. Paul’s United Methodist Church
  • Martha Macris, Memorial Assistance Ministries
  • Robert Westheimer, Newspring
  • Rev. Tammy Heinrich, Terrace United Methodist Church

We had 75 people who attended and all agreed that we should continue to bring the community together to pray for God’s blessings.

New Business Development Committee

We have a new business development committee that is starting to develop a more comprehensive strategy for Newspring. Anyone who is interested in working on the committee is encouraged to contact Mike Campbell at [email protected].

Newspring Fundraising Luncheon

We are very excited to welcome Jim “Mattress Mac” McIngvale as our keynote speaker with Bill Stubbs serving as host at the Houston Racquet Club. We hope our friends will participate and help us reach our goal of raising $50,000 after expenses for Newspring.

Please consider donating $1000 to sponsor a table and invite others who will support the Newspring mission and accomplishments through additional donations. If you would like to sponsor a table, please contact Mary Kay Coleman at [email protected].

volunteers
Volunteers are vitally important individuals who follow Christ’s call and help Newspring create pathways for others.

  • Newspring needs a person with graphics experience to help produce our monthly newsletter
  • Visual arts program needs volunteers with or without artistic experience
  • General office administration
  • Spanish speaking business mentors

Newspring always appreciates financial donations from those who are not able to volunteer their time.
