This year, The Star Awards Luncheon will feature the results of the first economic study ever commissioned on West Houston. The study will be conducted by the Institute for Regional Forecasting at The University of Houston and presented by Robert W. “Bill” Gilmer, Executive Director. Gilmer recently served as senior economist and Vice President in charge for the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas.
