The Spring Branch Management Merry Christmas Social had a little extra community kick this year. The Social, which always provides a great opportunity for the District and their community partners to come together and celebrate the holidays, included a special presentation on the Reimagining of Long Point.  Presented by architects from SWA Group (the firm hired to execute the plan), was a short introduction to the project and an opportunity for residents and business owners of Spring Branch to ask questions and provide feedback. It was so popular that SWA had to repeat it multiple times over the course of the Social to allow everyone who wanted to see it to view!

In addition to the presentation, attendees were invited to examine a hallway of poster boards with information and diagrams of potential project information. Spring Branch Management District board members and SWA Group architects stood by to answer questions, and to note any ideas from the people in attendance for future project improvements. The hallway remained crowded with onlookers throughout the party, and the air was abuzz with conversations about improving Spring Branch’s Main Street.

But the presentation and project weren’t the only popular things at the Merry Christmas Social. Attendees enjoyed drinks, including beer donated by Karbach Brewing Company, and a host of delicious bites from David Alcorta Catering. BBQ pork sliders, beef empanaditos, and cake shooters with extra whipped cream were just a few of the treats available throughout the evening.
