Feges BBQ

Whole turkeys are sold out at Feges BBQ in Spring Branch Village, 8217 Long Point Road, but you can still order your spiral cut bone-in rum-glazed smoked ham, a whole or half turkey breast, a rack of ribs, brisket, sausage and all the sides — even Feges’ special Korean-braised greens and hog fat cornbread — to go. Named a Top 50 Texas BBQ Joint for 2021 by Texas Monthly, Feges will be a welcome addition to any Thanksgiving table.

The last day for orders at World Catering Houston, 1073 Silber Rd., is Nov. 17. You prepare the turkey and World Catering will do the rest. Available savory sides include all the traditional items — sweet potato casserole, baked mac & cheese, cornbread dressing, green bean casserole and masked potatoes and gravy. You can buy homemade cranberry sauce by the quart. Did we mention the buttery yeast rolls? They are only $6 for a dozen.

The Branch Craft Beer & Foodery

Known for their beautiful cakes and desserts, World Catering is offering nine pies for Thanksgiving, including Southern Apple, Palmer’s Pecan, Grandmother’s Sweet Potato Pie, Chocolate Pudding, Coconut Cream, Key Lime, Lemon Meringue. Cascabel at 1415 Murray Bay St. is rescuingThanksgiving Day for vegans once again, with meatless tamales by the dozen. They also offer cinnamon rolls and pan dulce by the half dozen or dozen, as well as drinks — horchata and more — by the gallon.

Add a quart of charro beans or cilantro corn rice or buttered corn to your tamale order for just $12.
