Blind Goat

If you’re looking to end the year on a culinary high note, some Spring Branch Management District restaurants offer extra special New Year’s Eve menus that will help you ring in the new year in style — and lots of taste.

If you have late-night plans on Dec. 31 — or, in contrast, you plan to be asleep before the traditional ball drops around midnight on Times Square in Manhattan — celebrate early with a New Year’s Eve brunch buffet at The Blind Goat, 8145 Long Point Rd.

Celebrity Chef Christine Ha is gathering a few of her chef friends to collaborate on an Asian-inspired menu. It features contributions from Gabriel Medina, Patrick Pham and Daniel Lee of restaurants Kokoro, Handies Douzo and Aiko, as well as Tom Cunanan of Soy Pinoy and, on breads and pastries, Christina Au of Blacksmith.

Tickets, which are $109 per person, include an all-you-can-eat buffet and a complimentary drink. The package deal is available 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Degust is offering the special New Year’s Eve menu for $225 per person on Dec. 31 but also Dec. 28-Dec. 30. There are two seatings per day.
